On this blog, I share summaries about things I’m building or learning about, as well as stories and drawings about the growth and character of places, plus the odd take on kids and games.

My vocation is a never-ending attempt to reconicile these diverse subjects of history, towns and technology through writing, making tools, and designing buildings. I’m fascinated with how families, business and often agriculture combine and clash to create and regenerate places and landscapes.

In 2018, I committed to the oddball art of creating companies but despite best intentions, I made many classic and predictable errors as an independent operator and aspiring founder. In 2023 I took better stock of my experiences and purpose and started my journey again with an apple a day.
